How to Rent

The Studio is booked well in advance so please submit your inquiries early to reserve your space.
Important Rules & Information
Event Rental Rates
The following room schedule and rates in effect until December 31, 2018. Room schedule and rates subject to change at one month’s advance notice.

*GST will be added.
A minimum deposit of 50% of rental booking is required upon confirmation of each booking, and a credit card information must be provided as security for the balance.
The balance of the rental rate must be paid ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE EVENT. Payment method can be cheque, cash, debit or credit card, or we can accept an email transfer of the full amount of the rent at the time of booking.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
A minimum charge of 10% administration fee is applied to all cancellations. Cancellation for a booking must be received in writing 14 calendar days prior to the start date of the event and refunds will only be issued if the studio can be re-booked.
Keys and Fobs:
If the event is taking place outside of our regular business hours, keys & FOB must be picked up ahead of the event during business hours. They must also be dropped off promptly after the event at the agreed upon time, or charges will occur.
Fees for Lost keys and FOB: $100
Building Access and Parkade Hours
Main Building Access Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:00 am – 7:30 pm || Sunday: CLOSED*
Elevator to 2nd Floor: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm*
Parkade Access: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm
*Need Building FOB after hours
- Outside windows must be closed and locked and blinds drawn down at the close of the event
- If leaving after hours all lights must be turned off and appropriate cupboards and doors locked
- Client will be liable for costs if smoke detector is set off.
- If operating outside of Empower Health Reception hours, the front (inside) glass door to clinic must be kept locked at all times once your event is in progress.
- Only rooms designated for your access are to be used, unless granted explicit permission.
- All furniture, accessories and equipment must be replaced exactly how they were found.
- Blankets folded properly and stacked.
- Floors swept and mopped after the event
- Garbage, recycling and compost emptied into appropriate bins in kitchen
- Dishes washed
